Dave commissioned a necklace for his wife for their wedding anniversary to celebrate their life together. The theme of the pendant is the Japanese koi fish in memory of the honeymoon; on the back, the names of the two sons enclose the initial of his wife<\/p>\n

In creating this jewel, every detail is functional to its symbolic meaning: the construction, the shape and the posture of the fish (the children) set around the central stone (the mother) as to enclose and to embrace it but, at the same time, to indicate their origin.<\/p>\n

The chain, besides interspersing Akoya pearls that take up the element of bubbles in the pendant, is enriched by small miniatures of koi fish.<\/p>\n

The fish convey the idea of movement and life thanks to a craftmanship partly paved with coloured gems (black diamonds and orange sapphires) and to another one partly engraved with thin scales.<\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner]

Great attention is given also to goldsmith’s techniques.<\/p>\n

Dave asked for something that had to be beautiful and particular, precious but also easy to wear.<\/p>\n

We opted for a Mexican fire opal with a particular transparency and intense orange colour to take up the very special colours of the beloved koi fish; we forged an object with numerous details, but with rather small dimensions to guarantee it would be easy to wear.<\/p>\n
